Wheelthrown porcelain cup with slip-trailed pattern in color-changing Alexandrite glaze. This cup is a second because it was a test and the top of the pattern has the glaze wiped off, while the bottom row of the pattern still has glaze on it.
Dishwasher and Microwave Safe
The Alexandrite glaze is dichroic, which means it changes color depending on the type of light that hits it. It is purple in daylight and LED light, gray or blue in different fluorescent lighting, and pinkish purple in incandescent light. You can see an example of this glaze on a different pot in different lighting in the last photo.
