Soda-fired wheelthrown and altered stoneware lidded oval dish with flashing slip. The inside is glazed with a cream glossy glaze.
If you want to use this as a casserole dish in the oven, please only put it into a cold oven and preheat the oven with the dish in it. Placing it directly into a very hot oven will cause thermal shock and will reduce the longevity of the pot.
This is a second because the slip application got a little thick and flaked off of the bottom during the firing, as can be seen in the last photo.
