Wheelthrown porcelain mug with tape resist pattern, black underglaze lines, and glaze. The tape resist leaves a very tactile surface.
*This mug is slightly discounted because of two cosmetic cracks at the base of the handle, as can be seen in the last photo. They are fully covered in glaze, and the mug is fully functional.
The purple Alexandrite glaze changes color depending on the type of light that hits it. It can appear purple (daylight and LED light), blue or gray (fluorescent light) and pink (incandescent light).
